Faulty Implant Recall

Exactech is a global medical device company that develops joint replacement implants, surgical instruments and smart technologies. In 2021 and 2022, the company recalled defected inserts due to their pre-operative storage. According to the Exactech recall, the devices were packaged in a way that exposed them to too much oxygen which degraded the mechanical properties of the inserts.

This has allegedly led to serious complications for many patients including accelerated debris production and bone loss, component fatigue cracking and fracture, all leading to the requirement of revision surgeries. We are investigating the claim against Exactech for the defective products and will fight for compensation on behalf of those that have been affected.

You may be eligible to make a claim for compensation if you have had an Exactech hip, knee or ankle replacement.
